Can I claim your therapy on my private health fund?

Yes – provided you are at the right level in a fund that covers clinical psychology, hypnotherapy, and/or smoking cessation programs.

Can I claim your services on Medicare?

If you have a referral from your doctor you can claim a rebate of approximately $85 for up to 10 visits in a year.

How do I pay?

Payment is by cash, cheque or credit card at the time of the appointment. You will be issued with a receipt for your records, and for claiming rebates on Medicare and/or private health funds. No accounts are mailed.

Is there a cancellation fee?

As there is usually a waiting list, if you cancel your appointment with less than 24 hours notice you will be charged the full fee.

Do you accept ATAPS referrals?

Yes, I am registered with ATAPS.

Do you prescribe medication?

No, as a psychologist I am not qualified to prescribe medication. This is the specialist role of your GP or psychiatrist.

Do you do house calls, phone counselling or sessions via Skype?

No, I only see clients face-to-face.
